The Postgraduate Thesis Support Program, conducted by the Marmara Municipalities Union (MMU) City Policies Center in line with the MMU Scientific Studies Support Regulation, has opened its 2025 applications.
Celebrating its 10th term, the program will provide support for 5 doctoral theses and 5 master’s theses.
💰 Support Amounts:
1️⃣ Thesis topics must cover subjects such as the Marmara Region, Marmara Sea, local government, urban planning, smart cities, architecture, water and environmental management, climate change, migration, earthquake risks, disaster management, and similar areas related to local governance and urbanization.
2️⃣ Thesis status: The thesis must be approved by the relevant institute of the university and be in the writing stage. Applications from those whose thesis proposals have not been approved or who have already completed their theses will be considered invalid.
3️⃣ Application process: Applications can only be made via bilimseldestek.marmara.gov.tr. Applicants must create a personal account on the platform and upload all required information completely.
4️⃣ Application deadline: February 21, 2025 (Friday) at 23:59
🔍 Evaluation and Results:
Applications will be evaluated by the MMU Executive Board, and the results will be announced on the www.marmara.gov.tr website. Successful applicants will be invited to the MMU to sign their contracts.
