On May 19, 2026, as part of their Seljuk History course, students from the History Department organized a field trip to historical sites in Konya's city center, accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vahit Soofizade. During the trip, the students visited the Alaaddin Hill, Sırçalı Medrese, İplikçi Mosque, Zazadin Caravansarai, Sadreddin Konevi Mosque and Tomb, as well as the Mevlana Tomb. On their return journey, they also had the opportunity to examine the Sultanhanı Caravanserai.
